Senior manager of warehouse and distribution

Korn Ferry is supporting a leading multinational company in the healthcare/life sciences sector in the search for a senior logistics leader to oversee warehouse and distribution operations in Brazil. Key Challenges Lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations across multiple sites, ensuring high service levels, efficiency, and compliance Drive operational excellence in a complex, highly regulated environment with strong interaction with global and regional stakeholders Balance customer service, cost control, inventory management, and regulatory requirements in a high-value operation Lead transformation initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and stabilization of new structures and teams Required Experience Senior leadership experience in warehouse and distribution operations, preferably in regulated industries such as life sciences, medical devices, or similar Proven track record managing multiple distribution centers, including 3 PL and hybrid models Strong knowledge of Brazilian logistics, regulatory requirements (ANVISA, Receita Federal), and compliance standards Experience working in matrix organizations with regional and global interfaces Solid background in ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred) Key Skills & Behaviors Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with experience leading managers and indirect teams Results-driven mindset with focus on service levels, operational KPIs, and business impact Ability to operate in complex and fast-changing environments, with resilience and adaptability Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams Continuous improvement mindset, with focus on efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence This is a senior leadership role with national scope, requiring high availability for frequent travel across Brazil to support operations, ensure alignment, and drive consistent performance nationwide.
