Job Title: Senior Manager / Manager - Campus Life
Location: Doddabalapura, Bengaluru, Rural
Role Overview
The University seeks a dynamic and experienced Campus Life Manager to lead and integrate the Student Life and Sports ecosystem.
This role builds a vibrant, high-engagement campus culture by driving excellence in sports performance, student leadership, community engagement, sustainability initiatives, compliance governance, and co-curricular development.
We're looking for a strong program builder with experience in sports administration and student engagement, who can balance high-performance athletics with inclusive student participation, and drive fundraising, compliance, and data-driven campus development.
The role requires an autonomous, proactive, and creative professional who works with student outcomes as the primary indicator of success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campus Life Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute an integrated strategy for Sports and Student Life.
- Define short-term and long-term goals for engagement, performance, and participation.
- Build a scalable campus engagement ecosystem aligned with institutional vision.
2. Sports Program Management
- Lead all sports programs, teams, and competitive activities.
- Drive performance in inter-university, state, and national competitions.
- Manage athlete recruitment, scholarships, coaching systems, and infrastructure.
3. Student Engagement, Leadership & Platforms
- Oversee student engagement ecosystems including clubs, fests, NSS, Rotaract, and student forums.
- Drive leadership platforms such as MUN, TEDx, Toastmasters, debates, and leadership summits.
- Build structured student leadership pipelines and participation frameworks.
- Foster a culture of communication, leadership, and ownership.
4. Community Engagement & Sustainability
- Lead NSS and community outreach programs.
- Execute rural engagement, volunteering, and social impact initiatives.
- Drive campus sustainability programs (green initiatives, environmental campaigns).
- Build partnerships with NGOs, civic bodies, and external organisations.
5. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to anti-ragging policies and student conduct frameworks.
- Work with university committees (Student Welfare, Discipline, Sports, Cultural, etc.).
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit-ready compliance systems.
6. Events & Field Execution
- Plan and execute sports tournaments, NSS camps, MUNs, TEDx, and campus-wide events.
- Oversee logistics, coordination, and delivery of all programs.
- Drive field-based initiatives such as awareness campaigns, nukkad nataks, and outreach drives.
- Ensure end-to-end execution quality and safety compliance.
7. Fundraising, Sponsorships & Partnerships (Core Pillar)
- Lead fundraising and sponsorship acquisition for sports, student life, and institutional programs.
- Develop sponsorship proposals, partnership decks, and funding models for events and initiatives.
- Build relationships with corporates, alumni, NGOs, and external stakeholders for resource mobilisation.
- Collaborate with sports bodies, NSS authorities, and external institutions for funding support and partnerships.
8. Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Track participation, performance, and engagement through data-driven insights.
- Maintain dashboards and structured reporting systems.
- Use analytics to improve program design and outcomes.
9. Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate across academic departments, administration, and student bodies.
- Ensure alignment between sports, student life, and the institutional calendar.
- Drive seamless execution across multiple stakeholders.
10. Infrastructure & Branding
- Oversee sports and student life infrastructure utilisation and development.
- Plan upgrades aligned with institutional growth.
- Strengthen institutional branding through achievements and visibility.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Social Work, or related field or relevant experience.
- 8–12 years of experience in Sports Administration, Student Life, or Campus Engagement.
- Experience in sports and student life ecosystems at a Managerial level.
- Strong exposure to NSS, Rotaract, MUN, or similar student leadership platforms.
- Mandatory experience in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or resource mobilisation.
- Experience with university committees and governance frameworks preferred.
- Strong network in sports or student engagement ecosystems.
Preferred Experience
- TEDx, Toastmasters, and MUN exposure (organisational or leadership roles).
- Large-scale campus events, leadership summits, or institutional programs.
- Data-driven program management and reporting experience.

- This is a high-ownership role requiring execution across sports, student life, compliance, and fundraising.
- Candidates without relevant hands-on experience will not be considered.
