Senior IT Banking Consultant - Avaloq

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Avaloq Consultant to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Avaloq banking solutions for our clients. Your expertise will help ensure seamless integration, adherence to regulatory requirements, and alignment with business objectives.

• Analysis, design and implementation of technical solutions in close cooperation with the customer.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Avaloq.
• Develop using Avaloq script and PL/SQL.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Proactively contribute to the timely completion of workstream deliverables, maintaining high quality standards at all times.
• Full responsibility for the configuration and integration of Avaloq Core Banking solution.
• Support of product and business development activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Avaloq
• Ability to understand the functional requirements of the client and map those to Avaloq products and/or to configure the system to meet the client's needs
• Solid experience with Avaloq scripting, parameterization, and PL/SQL
• Familiarity with project lifecycles and development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Good knowledge of banking IT environments and the financial services industry
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to solving complex business and technical challenges
• Good stakeholder management & analytical skills
• Fluent English is mandatory
