About the role

As a Reporting Business Analyst at Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management you will be responsible for researching and defining clear requirements for client reports and reporting related processes. Central to these activities are the reports for Fiduciary Mandates, i.e. pension and non‑pension, and Product Mandates which are focused on a specific asset category. You will have exposure to the cutting edge of the new reporting under Wet Toekomst Pensioenen.

With regard to reporting processes we are undergoing major process transformation, so your analytical skills will be required here as well.


Team and Collaboration

You are part of the Reporting Change team within Operations, closely collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple teams in the departments of sales, operations, and IT Development. You are responsible for ensuring consistency across the requirements you and other business analysts deliver and the user acceptance tests when the DevOps team has built the solutions. In doing so, you play a crucial role in building the future state of reporting at Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management.

This combines technical knowledge and investment management understanding.


Responsibilities

  • Clarify the requirements for client reporting components for the DevOps team to build, and execute tests to ensure they are delivered as per requirements.
  • Delve into core reporting processes to identify process improvements, data quality checks, and automation opportunities.
  • Coordinate with a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring common understanding about decisions on requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

A team player that connects, with a problem‑solving mentality. You work from a business point of view and with an ability to think both conceptually and technically. Your 3+ years of experience in working with reporting for Investment Management client groups such as institutional investors allows you to understand the client needs and provide a sustainable solution.


Ideal Skills and Knowledge

  • Technical experience in working with MS SQL queries, executing REST APIs, and working with CRM systems like MS Dynamics.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to clearly communicate on proposed solutions.
  • Investments‑related knowledge of Fiduciary management and Pension Funds, especially in the areas of Client Reporting, ESG Reporting, Investment Performance, Risk, and/or Asset and Liability management.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodology; experience as Product Owner is a plus.
  • Strong mastery of English, both oral and written.

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,500 and €5,500, commensurate with your knowledge and experience.
