Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented finance professional to support strategic financial analysis, budgeting, business performance monitoring, and peer benchmarking for our fintech/NBFC business. The role will work closely with senior management on financial planning, portfolio analytics, profitability tracking, and key regulatory/business metrics monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of NBFC/fintech financials, lending business economics, portfolio metrics, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities: • Financial & Business Analysis: 1. Perform detailed analysis of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and portfolio performance on a monthly and quarterly basis. 2. Conduct variance analysis between budgeted vs actual financial and operational numbers. 3.

Analyze key business drivers including: ➢ CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) ➢ Risk Cost / Credit Cost ➢ Collection efficiency ➢ Portfolio yield ➢ Cost of funds ➢ Operating leverage 4. Monitor and analyze segment-wise profitability and business-wise P&L. • Strategic & Peer Benchmarking 1. Compare company financials and operational metrics with peer fintech/NBFC companies. 2.

Prepare competitor benchmarking reports covering: ➢ Growth trends ➢ Profitability ➢ Asset quality ➢ Capital adequacy ➢ Borrowing profile ➢ Cost structure 3. Support management with strategic insights and decision-making analysis. • MIS, Budgeting & Forecasting 1. Prepare monthly MIS, management dashboards, and business review presentations. 2.

Track budget vs actual performance across departments and business verticals. 3. Build financial models and projections for management review. 4. Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast exercises. • Regulatory & Portfolio Metrics Monitoring 1.

Track and monitor important financial and regulatory ratios including: ➢ CRAR ➢ LCR ➢ Debt-Equity Ratio ➢ GNPA / NNPA ➢ NIM ➢ ROA / ROE ➢ Cost to Income Ratio 2. Monitor current and projected numbers for management planning and compliance purposes. • Stakeholder Management 1. Coordinate with Finance, Business, Risk, Treasury, Collections, and Strategy teams for data gathering and analysis. 2.

Support senior management, lenders, investors, and board reporting requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: • CA / MBA Finance / CFA preferred. • 4–10 years of experience in NBFC, fintech, banking, consulting, or strategic finance roles. • Strong understanding of lending business models and financial statements. • Experience in FP&A, business finance, MIS, or strategic finance preferred. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise required. • Experience with BI tools / SQL / dashboards will be an added advantage. • Strong presentation and communication skills.
