Industrial Automation Consultant

Job Title: Industrial Automation Consultant Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (Preferred) | Travel Required Engagement Type: Project-Based Retainer (Compensation per project) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Industrial Automation Consultant on a project-based retainer. This is not a fixed monthly engagement — work and compensation will be structured around specific projects. The role involves on-site visits and travel, all of which will be company-funded.

Key Responsibilities Assess existing manual processes and identify automation opportunities Design and recommend robotic/automated solutions based on site requirements Review floor plans and plant layouts to plan automation deployment Support on-site implementation and configuration during project execution Collaborate with the internal team on project scoping and technical feasibility Travel to client or project sites as required (expenses covered by the company) Document processes and provide handover/training to plant teams post-deployment Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience converting manual processes to automated/robotic systems Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, or industrial robotics Ability to assess a plant/site and recommend automation solutions Experience working in manufacturing or production environments Based in Jaipur / Rajasthan (preferred) Good to Have Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) Familiarity with IoT integration in manufacturing Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles Engagement Details Mode: Project-based retainer Location: Jaipur (onsite & travel) Travel: Fully covered by the company Compensation: Discussed and agreed per project To Apply Send your profile to [email protected]
