Senior Financial Analyst – 6 Month Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the team. This role will be responsible for comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliations while working closely with operational finance partners on budgeting and rate-setting activities. About the Opportunity Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and complete month-end reporting with detailed month-over-month and year-over-year analysis Support high-volume reporting requirements for senior stakeholders and Council Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance trends Budgeting & Rate Management Support rate-setting processes and rate adjustments based on operational feedback Assist with investment tracking and request analysis Reconciliations & Controls Perform end-to-end bank, cash, and accounts receivable reconciliations Prepare monthly journal entries related to bank reconciliations Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data and reporting About You Strong SFA background with hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting Month-end reporting expertise including comparative analysis capabilities Budgeting and forecasting experience Rate-setting experience working with operational finance partners Reconciliation expertise in bank, cash, and AR processes Excellent analytical and communication skills Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills ---- DISCLAIMERS ----- This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Highspring’s client.
