Senior Engineer - Reliability (BU-Engines)

Creating passion: your responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities: Collect and analyse all field claims related to combustion engines from service systems: warranty, dealers databases, Calculate failure rates, Identify trends, recurring issues, and abnormal failure rate Build dashboards and reports summarizing claim evolution over time Retrieve, structure, and preprocess ECU data sent from customer machines, connected fleets, or dedicated field-test programs. Analyse logs to identify abnormal behaviours, early degradation indicators, limit exceedances, or rare operating conditions. Compare machine usage profiles against expected duty cycles to detect misuse or unexpected operating patterns Contributing your strengths: your qualifications Qualification and Education Requirements: Successfully completed studies (university / technical college) in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive manufacturing Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Science, or related fields.

Experience: More than 5 years of experience in similar field Preferred Skills / Special Skills: Engine systems knowledge including failure modes Relevant KPI for reliability (MTBF, MMTF, B10 Lifetime, Failure Rate) Business intelligence (Power BI, AI) Data science (Matlab, Python, etc.) MS Office
