We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join our team in Brisbane and play a key role in developing, improving and supporting the technology solutions that underpin our business.

Working closely with the CTO, development team and business stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, solve complex problems and help shape practical technology solutions that deliver real business outcomes.

What You'll Do

You will be involved across the full development lifecycle, from understanding the business problem through to designing, developing, testing and implementing the solution.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and maintain applications across web, desktop and mobile environments.

Contribute to software architecture, database design and technical solution design.

Investigate complex technical and business problems and develop effective solutions.

Work across existing systems as well as new development projects.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Support testing, deployment and ongoing system reliability..

Work with the CTO to deliver key technology initiatives and projects.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timeframes.

Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve business processes.

Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced team members.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced developer who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and take ownership of their work.

You'll bring:

Proven experience as a Senior Developer, Senior Software Engineer or similar.

Strong knowledge of software development principles and methodologies.

Experience with database design, development and optimisation.

Experience working across web, desktop and/or mobile platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

The ability to work through complex problems and develop practical solutions.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A proactive approach to identifying problems and opportunities.

The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
