We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities: Help set the team’s technical direction of our core systems, model best practices for development, and take a high level of ownership over architecture decisions Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability. Measure and improve performance and monitoring for our core backend stack Lead system and integration testing; provide guidance via code and design reviews for members of the development team Collaborate with the broader engineering and product management teams on new ideas and functionality for our products and their underlying data platform Create and maintain technical documentation on development processes and code Work in a demanding but highly collegial and collaborative environment Qualifications: Dependency Injection, Test Driven Development 5+ years of experience with SQL, Postgres, or MySQL Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Experience working in an Agile environment Experience using Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation Proficiency in data modeling and database design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have: Certifications: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Data specific certification is a plus. Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Amazon RDS).

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation. Experience in financial services
