Senior Data Scientist Data Analyst

About the project Join us as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist in the Data Delivery commercial domain of the airline industry, where youll apply data analysis, advanced analytics and GenAI — spanning everything from data quality verification and BI development in Tableau/Power BI to machine learning modeling to enhance key areas such as network planning, scheduling, and revenue management. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving commercial efficiency, refining strategic decisions, and maximizing profitability through data-driven insights. Who are you?

We are looking for a Data Scientist who combines strong analytical capabilities with business curiosity and a passion for solving real-world challenges. 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL. Practical experience building and validating machine learning models.

Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience working with Databricks or similar modern analytics platforms. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience translating complex data into actionable business recommendations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Good command of English (B2/C1). Availability to work in a hybrid model – 2 days per week in our Gdańsk office. What do we welcome?

Experience with airline, transportation, logistics, or revenue management domains. Experience working with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models, including practical business applications.

Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and production environments. Why do we need you? In this role, you will be responsible for: Develop and enhance machine learning models supporting commercial airline processes, including pricing, demand forecasting, customer behavior analysis, and revenue optimization.

Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions with measurable business impact. Evaluate and improve existing analytical and predictive models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and business relevance. Explore and implement Generative AI use cases that enhance decision-making and business processes.

Conduct advanced data analysis and identify opportunities for process optimization, customer insights, and revenue growth. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, helping them understand data-driven opportunities and translating business needs into analytical solutions. Contribute to the development of data products, from concept and proof of value through implementation and adoption.

Communicate findings and recommendations through dashboards, reports, presentations, and workshops. Support the deployment and operationalization of analytical solutions within the Azure and Databricks ecosystem. What do we offer?
