Overview Herspiegel Consulting is a management consulting firm focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Our organization helps clients build successful brands from preclinical phases through launch and to formulate and implement brand-specific strategies and programs for in-line brands. Services include brand strategy, market assessment; brand positioning, launch planning, lifecycle management, thought leader identification and engagement, and identification/development of marketing programs and sales force training/communication.
The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Medical Affairs Science and Strategy to join our growing Medical Affairs service line. This intermediate-level, full-time role is well suited for an experienced medical affairs or medical communications professional who combines strong scientific expertise with project management and client-facing experience. As a Consultant, you will support key client engagements, contribute to high-quality scientific deliverables, and collaborate closely with senior leaders to help advance our Medical Affairs offerings.
This is a Toronto-based hybrid role, requiring in-office presence three days per week. What You’ll Do Support and, in some cases, lead client engagements by providing scientific input and guidance across therapeutic areas and deliverables Ensure scientific and editorial excellence across all deliverables, maintaining high standards for accuracy, clarity, and compliance Contribute to the development of medical affairs content, including medical education materials, training resources, publications, scientific platforms, and congress materials Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Project Management, Analytics, Strategy) to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions Support business development efforts, including proposal development and participation in client pitches Stay current on industry trends, evolving client needs, and best practices in medical affairs and scientific communications Build trusted relationships with clients by proactively addressing their needs and supporting strategic objectives Contribute to internal initiatives that enhance team collaboration, quality, and innovation Conduct research, interpret and organize scientific and business intelligence data for strategy projects; summarize scientific literature; draft therapeutic area reports Manage preparation for facilitated client workshops. Lead a team to facilitate successful execution of deliverables.
Develop reports capturing the output of facilitated client workshops and interviews. Sixsense is a Herspiegel Company with operations in Canada and the United States. The total reward band for this role is at approximately $80,00- $110,000 CAD per annum.
