Job Description Job Description Senior Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 180k/year - San Antonio, TX Our client is a nationally recognized commercial and industrial general contractor delivering large-scale, complex construction projects across multiple sectors. They are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major projects from preconstruction through completion, with a strong focus on safety, cost control, and schedule execution. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, managing internal and field teams, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery on high-value builds.
Responsibilities: Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and profitability across large-scale builds Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedules and timelines Oversee subcontractor coordination to ensure alignment with scope, quality, and schedule Review and manage shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals Prepare and deliver monthly cost reports and owner billings Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, inspectors, and stakeholders Ensure compliance with all safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company procedures Lead safety initiatives, conduct jobsite safety meetings, and enforce safe work practices Monitor project performance and proactively identify and resolve risks or delays Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements with local authorities Oversee quality control processes across all phases of construction Lead and mentor project teams, including field staff and support personnel Qualifications: 10+ years of construction project management experience Experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects ($100M+) Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and project execution Proficiency with Primavera (P6 preferred), Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word Demonstrated experience implementing and managing complex safety programs Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams Experience managing project financials , including cost reporting, cash flow, and forecasting Strong understanding of construction contracts, terms, and project delivery methods Knowledge of insurance programs (OCIP, CCIP, SDI, Builder's Risk policies) Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with scope and specifications Compensation: Base salary in the 150k - 180k/year range Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401k program Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays #INDALL
