Senior Business System Analyst

Location: Remote with availability during New York business hours

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions across a dynamic organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and process-improvement skills with hands-on experience implementing and optimizing low-code/no-code platforms such as Airtable, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar tools.

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to understand complex workflows, identify opportunities for automation and improvement, and deliver scalable solutions that increase efficiency, visibility, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows, pain points, and technology requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, workflows, process maps, and solution designs.
• Design, configure, and enhance solutions using low-code/no-code platforms, including tools such as Airtable and Salesforce.
• Build and maintain workflows, automations, forms, dashboards, reporting solutions, and integrations.
• Serve as the liaison between business teams, engineering/IT, data teams, and third-party vendors.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements, integrations, or replacement solutions.
• Support system integrations and data flows between business applications, APIs, databases, and external platforms.
• Develop dashboards and reporting capabilities that improve operational visibility and decision-making.
• Lead requirements-gathering workshops and facilitate discussions across technical and non-technical teams.
• Support solution testing, including test plans, UAT coordination, issue resolution, and production deployment.
• Create system documentation, process documentation, training materials, and operating procedures.
• Support user adoption and provide guidance on best practices for new systems and workflows.
• Help establish standards and governance for low-code/no-code development across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience working within the music industry or a closely related entertainment/media environment.

• Strong business process analysis and process-mapping skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Experience designing workflows, automations, dashboards, and data-driven business applications.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, and data structures.
• Experience with requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, testing, and UAT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Airtable and/or Salesforce administration and solution design.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications using APIs or integration/automation platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience working with enterprise music systems, rights-management platforms, royalty systems, CRM platforms, or digital asset/content management systems.
• Experience leading business-process transformation or system modernization initiatives.
