Senior Business Analyst Contract

Contract Senior Business Analysts (SFIA 5) | Government Digital Programme | Up to £440/day INSIDE IR35 We’re working with a leading consultancy supporting a major UK government digital transformation programme , and are looking to bring in two Business Analysts at different levels to support delivery. These roles sit within a large-scale, complex service environment , focused on improving high-impact digital services used at national level. Senior Business Analyst (SFIA- level 5) Up to £440/day INSIDE IR35 Hybrid (Manchester – ~1 day/week onsite) Leading BA activity across multiple workstreams Driving stakeholder engagement across business, technical and policy teams Facilitating workshops, defining requirements and shaping service improvements What we’re looking for: Experience working in large-scale digital transformation environments Strong and demonstrable Agile delivery experience is a must Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders Confident translating complex problems into clear, structured requirements Central Government experience is required (please note this does not include local authority orgs) SFIA Level 5 Expectations: Autonomy: Operates with minimal supervision, taking ownership of BA activity across workstreams Influence: Engages and influences stakeholders across multiple disciplines, including senior stakeholders Complexity: Works effectively in complex, fast-paced delivery environments with multiple concurrent workstreams Business Skills: Applies strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to shape outcomes and support decision-making Leadership: Leads BA activities, contributes to best practice, and supports or mentors other analysts where needed Additional details: BPSS clearance eligibility is required Long-term programme work Opportunity to contribute to high-impact, user-focused services
