Senior Business Analyst

Position Description:

We are urgently looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Lead Business Analyst / IT Business Analyst profile in a highly complex banking finance area, specifically related to derivatives, financial instruments and/or securities.

This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw

Job responsibilities: The role includes: • Business and system analysis in the banking finance domain • Analysis of requirements related to derivatives, financial instruments and/or securities • Cooperation with the Product Owner and business stakeholders from the bank • Cooperation with IT teams, architects, developers, testers and group-level teams • Data flow design • Data mapping and analytical documentation • Requirements documentation • Backlog management • Coordination of analysis activities and dependencies across teams • Support for solution design, system analysis and testing

Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Strong senior-level business analysis experience in banking or financial services • Practical experience in one or more of the following areas: derivatives, securities, financial instruments, capital markets, treasury or investment banking • Ability to independently take ownership of a complex financial domain topic • Experience in working directly with Product Owners and business stakeholders • Experience in cooperation with IT teams and translating business requirements into system requirements • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data flows • Practical knowledge of SQL • Experience with UML, Jira and Confluence • Very good communication skills • English at a level allowing fluent day-to-day communication with group-level teams • Native Polish required for cooperation with business stakeholders

Nice to have: • General Ledger, accounting, financial reporting or regulatory reporting experience • Data warehouse / ETL / data mapping experience • Enterprise Architect • Scrum / Agile experience
