Building safety is central to this mission, and we are looking for an experienced professional to help us lead this critical agenda.About the RoleAs Senior Building Safety Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of MTVH's Building Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and wider regulatory requirements. You'll act as a subject matter expert, championing a proactive and resident-focused approach to safety across the business.Working closely with internal teams, residents, regulators, fire and rescue services, managing agents, freeholders and accountable persons, you'll ensure robust safety cases, effective resident engagement, and the highest standards of building safety information management.You'll also provide strategic leadership, performance reporting, and regular updates to senior leadership and Board-level committeesKey ResponsibilitiesLeading and developing a team of Building Safety Managers.Driving a culture where resident safety is embedded in everything we do.Managing and continuously improving MTVH's Building Safety Management System.Acting as a key point of contact with the Building Safety Regulator, Primary Authority and Fire & Rescue Services.Overseeing the development and management of building safety cases and safety information.Working collaboratively across development, asset management, repairs, BIM and operational teams to ensure building safety is effectively managed throughout the building lifecycle.Monitoring performance, identifying risks and implementing improvements.Preparing and presenting reports to senior leaders and governance committees.Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, managing agents and freeholders to achieve common safety objectivesAbout YouYou'll be a highly experienced building safety professional with a proven track record of leadership, service improvement and stakeholder management within complex property portfoliosYou are a committed and knowledgeable professional who lives our values:Dare - You challenge the status quo, embrace innovation, and continuously seek better ways to improve safety, compliance and resident outcomes.Care - You put residents first, creating a culture where safety, wellbeing and exceptional customer service are at the centre of every decision.Collaborate - You build strong relationships with colleagues, regulators, contractors, managing agents and residents, recognising that the best outcomes come from working together.Own - You take accountability for delivering results, managing risk and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and complianceYou will also have:Extensive experience in building safety management within large residential property portfolios.Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Gateway processes and digital building information requirements.Experience developing policies, procedures and service improvements.Experience producing performance reports and management information.Recognised industry membership or equivalent experience, ideally CIOB Level 6, RICS, IFSM, IFE or similar.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and lead through change.Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word What We OfferCompetitive salary and pensionFlexible working arrangementsGenerous annual leaveOpportunities for professional developmentThe chance to make a meaningful impact on residents lives Apply NowIf you share our commitment to Care, Dare, Collaborate and Own, and want to play a key role in delivering safer homes.This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to setting the highest standards in building safety.
