Senior Broker / Litigation Risk

Overview

In this Senior Broker role, you will originate, structure and place litigation risk insurance across single-case and portfolio risks, supporting a growing practice with a global reach. You’ll work with funders, disputes practices, claimants and insurers to price and transfer risk, moving from pure litigation expertise into commercial risk management. The opportunity offers flexible working and no billable hours, with a focus on outcomes and growth.

You will help build a scalable book and shape how litigation risk is funded and managed within the broader insurance proposition.

• originate, structure and place litigation risk insurance across single-case and portfolio risks
• develop cover for adverse costs, judgments on appeal, litigation funding protection, and law firm fee exposure in contingency arrangements
• support cross-border and cross-asset risk solutions in the contingent risk proposition
• build and maintain a network across funders, disputes practices, claimants and insurer market
• drive growth of the litigation risk book and contribute to the broader broking platform
• collaborate with a team drawn from legal backgrounds to combine technical judgment with commercial execution
• manage risk pricing, terms negotiation, and portfolio risk management

• experience as litigator, in-house counsel, or litigation funder with merits and quantum assessment skills
• ability to structure commercial outcomes for single-case and portfolio risks
• established network across disputes and funding market
• strong commercial appetite to build a book and drive outcomes
