Senior Bim Engineer

Senior Bim Engineer Department: Structural Design Studio- India The Senior Bim Engineer will lead Structural BIM modeling and coordination for large- scale residential projects within Sobha Realty. This senior role requires strong technical knowledge of structural systems including rebar detailing, advanced BIM expertise, and leadership in coordinating cross- discipline teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. The focus is entirely on internal project delivery RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITI ESLead and manage structural BIM modeling and coordination throughout all project phase s.Prepare BIM models, coordination deliverables, clash detectionreports, and project tracker s.Review and validate structural drawings and Bim model for accuracy and compliance with project standard s.Coordinate closely with architecture, MEP, landscape, and construction teams to ensure full integratio n.Ensure compliance with Sobha standards and local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality ).Supervise and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians within the tea m.Attend technical and coordination meetings internally with architecture, MEP, landscape, and construction teams to align design intent and approval s.Track and managedesign deliverables, submissions, and approvals across discipline s.Facilitate design review meetings, workshops, and follow-ups to resolve issues proactivel y.Prepare and present progress reports and updates for internal management and client briefing s.

SKI LLSStrong expertise in BIM tools: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/A CC.In-depth knowledge of structural systems and large-scale residential/high-rise projec ts.Proficiency in clash detection, model auditing, and cross-discipline coordinati on.Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skil ls.Strong communication and stakeholder management abiliti es.Ability to mentor junior team members and enforce BIM and Structural standar ds. QUALIFICATION & EXPERI ENCEBachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline, Diploma/ITI/ITC/Draughtsman in ci vil.12 t o 15 years of experience in structural design coordination, including rebar detailing, with at least 4 years in BIM-Structural detail ing.Proven track recording large-scale residential or high-rise projects, preferably in the GCC.
