Senior Associate Vice President - Principal QA Engineer

Your area of work:

As a member of the Core Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for Clearing and Risk IT systems. Leveraging your functional expertise and working closely with business analysts, you will translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases. You will be responsible for designing automated testing solutions, executing test scenarios, and ensuring that all regulatory and functional requirements are met before deployment into production.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for Clearing and Risk IT applications
• Design, create, and execute test models across the full system landscape, with a focus on risk systems
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective test cases and automation scripts
• Execute test cases, document results, and report defects and findings
• Play a key role during the implementation phase, including coordination and execution of business user tests
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure high-quality software delivery

Your profile:

• Degree in a relevant field such as Bachelors/Masters in Commerce/Finance or B.Tech/M.Tech or Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology / Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Sound knowledge of quantitative risk management and financial instruments. Relevant certifications in financial market infrastructure or risk management are advantageous
• Strong programming/scripting skills, preferably in Python and solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Minimum of 12 years experience performing acceptance testing or integrated system testing within projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English .
