Senior Accounts Executive – Client Accounting, GST & Inventory

Location: Ghaziabad | Work from Office

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

For someone who wants to build a long-term career in accounting, this role offers exposure to complete accounting, multiple businesses, client interaction, reconciliations, compliance, reporting and review rather than being restricted to one small part of the accounting function.

What You Will Own

You will be responsible for accounting and monthly closure activities for assigned clients, including:

• Complete day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime
• Sales, purchase, journal, bank and other accounting entries
• Bank statement import/upload and bank reconciliation
• Customer and vendor ledger reconciliation
• Retail / trading / inventory accounting
• Stock accounting and stock reconciliation
• Identification and resolution of differences between physical/operational records and books
• GST accounting and reconciliation with GSTR-2B
• Preparation and filing/support for GST returns
• TDS accounting, reconciliation and compliance
• Debtors and creditors ageing review
• Ledger scrutiny and identification of incorrect or missing accounting entries
• Month-end closing and preparation of schedules for finalisation of accounts
• Coordination with clients for missing information, confirmations and clarification of accounting issues
• Getting accounts reviewed and closing review points within agreed timelines
• Supporting MIS and management reporting for clients
• Maintaining proper accounting documentation and working papers

Who We Are Looking ForMust Have

• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime
• Good understanding of GST and TDS
• Hands-on experience in bank, customer and vendor reconciliations
• Experience in accounting for businesses involving stock / inventory
• Ability to independently understand and maintain a complete set of books
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to identify accounting errors rather than simply pass entries
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines for multiple assignments
• Comfortable communicating with clients over phone, email and WhatsApp

Preferred

• Experience with a retail, trading, distribution or inventory-based business
• Experience in a CA firm, accounting outsourcing company or environment handling multiple entities
• Experience in month-end closing and preparation of Balance Sheet schedules
• B.Com / M.Com
• CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate candidates are welcome, but the qualification is not mandatory if your practical accounting knowledge is strong

Compensation
