Senior Accountant

Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will lead European financial reporting under IFRS and local German GAAP, supporting the Altium Sub-Group across EMEA. You will collaborate with external service providers, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate statements and filings. Your work will shape compliance and reporting quality across multiple entities, contributing to the group’s financial discipline and regulatory readiness.

• Prepare and review monthly IFRS reporting for European entities
• Prepare annual financial statements under German GAAP and IFRS
• Monitor local filing deadlines and ensure compliance
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors
• Support tax filings and liaise with tax advisors
• Support all other Altium Sub-Group companies in EMEA
• File local statistical and non-statistical reports

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ideally Bachelor's in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience with focus on German GAAP and IFRS
• Deep knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to manage financial deadlines and reporting timelines
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software/systems (ideally NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
