Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory and firm standards as a Senior Accountant.
  • Deliver high-quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships and offering clear, insightful financial guidance.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, supporting wider compliance obligations and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
  • Support junior colleagues through coaching and feedback, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery expected of a Senior Accountant.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience operating at Senior Accountant level.
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
  • Strong technical grounding in Irish GAAP with familiarity in FRS 102.
  • Solid understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
