Your Responsibilities

Working closely with our directors and management team, you will:

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax and FBT returns
• Deliver tax compliance and business advisory services
• Assist with tax planning engagements
• Build strong relationships with clients and become their trusted adviser
• Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory authorities
• Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide mentoring
• Prepare management reports and reconciliations
• Assist with a variety of advisory and special projects
• Work collaboratively with our management team to deliver exceptional client outcomes

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in public practice
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business services
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, Excel and other accounting software
• Sound technical knowledge, including Division 7A, CGT, Trust Distributions, UPEs and depreciation
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• CA or CPA qualified (or currently studying)
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow
