The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Finance Shared Service Center (“FSSC”) and support other stakeholders, e.g. PnC, IT, etc. The primary responsibilities include, month end close, forecast/budget, tax calculation and filing and preparing account reconciliations.

As a Senior Accountant, you will

  • Lead and execute the closing process, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany charges, weekly BSP reconciliation, etc
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies by collaborating across function
  • Update financial data to reporting system Vena for consolidation
  • Revise monthly forecast and annual budget on operating expenses and Capex
  • Provide maintenance capital expenditure reporting and fixed asset register
  • Prepare T&E report and analysis to management monthly
  • Provide business support to local departments and provide monthly report
  • Collaborate with FSSC, PM, Ops team, and FP&A team to meet the changing business requirements
  • Provide guidance to FSSC on accounting requirement and daily operation
  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecast and assist with cash management
  • Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT return and complete ABS surveys
  • Follow up the clearing of error monitor and investigate the root causes
  • Lead the monthly supplier marketing review with SM&D team
  • Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules and providing documentation; ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support on ad hoc projects / requests from regional team and other stakeholders

About you

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Certified Accountant, i.e. CIMA, ACCA, CA, CPA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP
  • Good communication skills oral and written
