Salary: £140 - £220 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SLD Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right SLD Teacher. The successful SLD Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families to support both academic progress and personal development.

The successful SLD Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Experience teaching pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or complex additional needs
• The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet individual EHCP targets
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A patient, compassionate and flexible approach to teaching
• A commitment to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
