Security Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to help build, operate and continuously improve our security capabilities across Azure, Microsoft Sentinel and Azure DevOps.

Working closely with our CISO, Engineering and DevOps teams, you'll play a key role in strengthening our cloud security, improving detection capabilities and embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain Microsoft Sentinel detections, analytics rules, KQL queries, workbooks and playbooks.
• Improve security across Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, SCA, secrets, IaC, container and vulnerability scanning.
• Strengthen Azure security across Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, RBAC/PIM, Key Vault and cloud posture management.
• Investigate security alerts, tune detections, automate repetitive tasks and reduce false positives.
• Produce dashboards, runbooks and operational documentation to support incident response, audits and customer assurance.
• Work with Engineering and DevOps teams to embed practical, scalable security into everyday delivery.

What we're looking for

• Experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security or Detection Engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing Azure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel (or another SIEM) and KQL (or equivalent query language).
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD security practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud security tooling.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI or similar).
• A pragmatic, collaborative approach with a passion for improving security without slowing delivery.
