Security Engineer (Infrastructure / Azure) (Houston)

Context : We are seeking a Security Engineer to support key infrastructure security initiatives, focusing on server environments, vulnerability remediation, and system modernization.

This role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects in a hybrid cloud environment within a fast-paced organization. Your Role: Identify and remediate server and infrastructure vulnerabilities Support technical teams in resolving security issues across environments Lead operating system upgrade and migration initiatives Rebuild and harden server environments following security best practices Support web server environments and associated deployment processes Address network and infrastructure-related security gaps Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to align security standards Contribute to continuous improvement of security practices What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Security or System Engineering Strong experience with Windows Server environments and cloud platforms Proven expertise in vulnerability remediation and system hardening Experience with OS upgrades and infrastructure modernization Good understanding of web hosting environments Hands-on, proactive, and able to operate in high-priority environments Nice to have: Experience with scripting, hybrid infrastructure environments, and security tooling.
