Product Engineer (Las Vegas)
Metrics Recruitment
Job Description
Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed Series B company operating at the intersection of gaming, crypto, and consumer entertainment. With 90M in total funding, they are seeking a Product Engineer to drive product strategy and roadmap for their new games and social platform development. What You'll Do Own product strategy and roadmap.
Define what we build, why we build it, and in what order —informed by player data, business goals, and competitive landscape. Write clear, opinionated PRDs that engineers can build from. You spec features with enough detail to be useful and enough restraint to leave room for craft.
Build functional prototypes to validate ideas before committing engineering resources. Vibe-code working demos using AI tools — not wireframes, not slide decks, working software that people can click through. Run experiments and validate fast.
Use prototypes, A/B tests, player feedback, and data to kill bad ideas early and double down on what works. Drive feature launches end-to-end. From discovery to spec to prototype to engineering handoff to ship to post-launch analysis.
You own the full lifecycle. Define and track success metrics. GGR impact, player engagement, retention, conversion — you know what good looks like and you measure it ruthlessly.
Use AI tools to move faster. Cursor, Claude, v0, Lovable — whatever gets an idea from your head into a clickable prototype fastest. Who You Are 5+ years in product management, product engineering, or a hybrid builder/PM role PM who builds.
You don't just write specs and wait. When you have a product idea, your instinct is to open a code editor and prove it works. You're not a full-time engineer, but you can vibe-code a functional prototype that communicates the vision better than any document.
AI-native product thinker. You use Cursor, Claude, v0, and similar tools as extensions of your product brain. AI isn't a line item on your resume — it's how you prototype, analyze, and iterate at a speed that traditional PMs can't match.
Opinionated about player experience. You have strong taste. You know what makes a gaming product feel good — the flows, the timing, the friction points, the dopamine hits.
You fight for the player experience in every decision. Big Bonus Experience in online gaming, sports betting, or high-engagement consumer products — you understand the mechanics that drive player behavior Familiarity with Django/Python, HTMX, or web application frameworks — enough to prototype within our actual stack Background in growth, experimentation, or conversion optimization Experience as an early product hire at a startup — you've shaped product direction without a large team around you Understanding of regulated industries and the product constraints that come with compliance
