GIBRALTAR. OPERATING THEATRE (SCRUB) NURSE - LOCUM JOB 12-month contract. ASAP IMS Recruitment is recruiting an OPERATING THEATRE NURSE for a hospital in Gibraltar.

The Nurse is wanted for an immediate start for a 12-month contract. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Operating Theatre Nurses with NMC registration and at least three years of post-registration experience.

The department is particularly interested in Registered Nurses with experience as Scrub Nurses. Requirements Applicants must be registered with the UK’s NMC Minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative nursing, including scrub responsibilities. Knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument handling and day surgery workflows.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced day surgery environment. The post holder will provide professional nursing care across the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases of day surgery. Duties include p re-operative assessment, performing scrub responsibilities in the operating theatre, and supporting patient recovery in PACU.
