School Principal

Role Description The School Principal role at Suresh Gyan Vihar University is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Principal will provide strategic and academic leadership to the school, oversee curriculum planning and implementation, and ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include supervising teaching and non-teaching staff, managing academic schedules and assessments, monitoring student performance and well-being, and fostering an inclusive, learner-centered environment.

The Principal will collaborate with university leadership, engage with parents and stakeholders, develop improvement plans, and promote innovative teaching practices aligned with the university’s vision. The role also involves overseeing administrative processes, maintaining discipline, and supporting continuous professional development for educators.

Qualifications

• Strong Educational Leadership and school management skills, with experience guiding academic teams and implementing institutional policies.
• Expertise in Curriculum Development and academic planning, particularly for Middle School and related educational levels.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, staff, parents, and university authorities.
• Relevant academic background in Education or related disciplines, with advanced qualifications (Master’s or higher) preferred.
• Proven experience in school administration, policy implementation, and quality assurance in an educational setting.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, learner-focused culture that supports holistic student development and ethical values.
• Knowledge of national education standards, assessment frameworks, and contemporary pedagogical practices.
• Demonstrated capacity for strategic planning, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
