Part-Time Physical Therapist Opportunity in Senoia, GA - K-12 School Setting A part-time physical therapist is needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in an educational environment located in Senoia, Georgia. This contract position runs for the remainder of the current school year, ending May 20th, with an immediate start date. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to students in a school setting, addressing mobility, strength, and coordination needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Conduct assessments and document progress in compliance with educational guidelines. Assist in promoting student participation and safety during physical activities.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach supporting student success. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Licensed physical therapist with state certification appropriate for school-based practice. Experience working with K-12 students in schools or clinical settings.
Understanding of special education regulations and IDEA compliance. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with school staff and families. Ability to manage time efficiently in a part-time contract role.
