The Role:

Cumming Group are looking to recruit a Scheduler to join our team in the Madrid office. The role will support major Data Centre developments in Spain, working alongside leading technology clients and project teams delivering mission-critical facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Support project teams in establishing baseline schedules and programme controls processes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Analyse critical path activities and evaluate schedule impacts.
  • Lead schedule review meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and programme updates.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and scenario planning exercises.
  • Support change management processes and assess the schedule impact of variations.
  • Review contractor programmes for compliance, logic, resource loading, and overall project performance.
  • Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules where required.
  • Perform delay analysis and forensic schedule reviews.
  • Support project controls functions, including cost and risk integration.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior scheduling professionals.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and site visits as required.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to project governance standards.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years' experience in project scheduling, ideally within Data Centres, mission-critical facilities, advanced technology, or major capital projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex Data Centre project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, planning methodologies, and programme management.
  • Experience performing schedule risk analysis and critical path assessments.
  • Ability to conduct delay analysis and forensic scheduling reviews.
  • Knowledge of earned value management and performance reporting principles.
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedules and construction programmes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
