Join a major Queensland Government enterprise technology program supporting one of Australia's largest SAP HR and Payroll environments. This is an opportunity to work on complex SAP solutions that support a statewide workforce, delivering new functionality, system enhancements and enterprise-scale improvements.

You’ll provide technical leadership across SAP HR Payroll development, leading complex solution design while mentoring developers and working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

The Role

As the SAP Principal Developer, you will:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of complex SAP HR Payroll enhancements
• Develop enterprise solutions using SAP ABAP and Fiori technologies
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Support full software development lifecycle including design, build, testing and deployment
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers
• Work collaboratively with architects, functional consultants and business stakeholders
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of development standards and best practice
• Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift across the team

About You

You’ll bring strong experience across:

• SAP HR Payroll development
• ABAP development
• SAP Fiori and UI5 development
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• OData and REST services
• SAP Workbench
• Employee and Manager Self Service applications
• SAP Web IDE, browser debugging tools and Git
• Enterprise solution design within large and complex environments

Experience working within large Government or enterprise SAP environments will be highly regarded.
