We are looking for an experienced SAP CAP Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). You will play a key role in building scalable, high-quality solutions following SAP's Clean Core and Side-by-Side Extensibility principles while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework.
  
• Model business data and services using Core Data Services (CDS), including entities, associations, and annotations, and expose them through OData V4 and REST APIs.
  
• Define and implement scalable application architectures with reusable service components and layered design principles.
  
• Collaborate closely with SAP Fiori/UI5 developers to deliver backend services optimized for frontend applications.
  
• Integrate SAP and on‑premise systems using SAP BTP services such as Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, and Cloud Connector.
  
• Develop and optimize solutions using SAP HANA Cloud, including data modeling, HDI containers, and performance tuning.
  
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Cloud Foundry, leveraging modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  
• Follow engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• 3–5 years of experience developing applications with SAP CAP on SAP BTP using the Node.js stack.
  
• Strong experience with CDS modeling and OData V4 services.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA Cloud and deploying applications to Cloud Foundry.
  
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP core services, including XSUAA, Destination, Connectivity, and Cloud Connector.
  
• Experience working with modern software engineering practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  

Nice to Have

• 
  
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5.
  
• Knowledge of the CAP Java stack.
  
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA extensibility scenarios.
  
• Experience with Kyma Runtime.
  
• Knowledge of EDI/IDoc integrations or enterprise middleware solutions.
