Overview

As Salesforce Administrator at 8x8, you will own the Salesforce environment to enable seamless user productivity and accurate data. You’ll collaborate with IT and business teams to customize, configure, and maintain Salesforce, driving automation and reliability at scale. Your work helps ensure data integrity, robust security, and high system availability while supporting cross-functional decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
  • Maintain system health, perform regular data audits, and ensure data integrity
  • Participate in Salesforce services problem/incident troubleshooting and resolution with IT/BizApps
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and assist in DR/HA planning
  • Identify stability, performance, and risk trends with the Salesforce environment
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, engineers, and business teams
  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, and automation
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decisions
  • Implement changes to meet evolving business requirements
  • Design and implement automation (Flows, Process Builder, Approvals) to streamline operations
  • Support integration with third-party tools and applications
  • Provide day-to-day user support and training to improve adoption
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions
  • Manage data imports/exports using Data Loader and Data Import Wizard
  • Ensure data accuracy through deduplication and validation
  • Create and manage custom reports and dashboards
  • Stay informed on Salesforce releases and best practices; test and implement new features
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and make timely decisions
  • Hybrid/remote work with UK business hours

Key requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar (industry certifications may offset degree)
  • Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, user management, and data maintenance
  • Familiarity with Data Loader, Process Builder, and Flows
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including objects, workflows, and reports
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to deadlines
