At BMH we’re looking for a passionate Forklift Sales Service Manager to join our team and lead business-to-business account development in the greater Milford, NH or Boston, MA area. The expectation is for the Sales Service Manager to be on the road full-time doing customer/client outreach in Boston and drive that work Milford. You would only sit in the Milford office occasionally.

About the Role This position requires a combination of skills including management, communication and computer skills. This position interacts directly with our field technicians to ensure they are successful.

In this fast-paced and demanding role, you will interact with multiple in-house departments (i.e.: Sales, Parts, Shop and Delivery) as well as customers and Field technicians to ensure service excellence. Supervises the daily activities of a team of field technicians. Responsibilities The field service supervisor will be responsible for the performance of the field service technicians, ensuring that they follow company policy and their job descriptions.

Scheduling field technicians via incoming customer phone calls, internal service requests and scheduling approved quoted field repairs. Receiving all field technician’s daily time sheets, checking for accuracy and coding properly for invoicing. Monitoring all open repairs and scheduling completion of these repairs in a timely manner.

Tracking and putting into report form, all service calls received monthly, first-time completion rate, and PM monthly completions. Maintaining PM data base including but not limited to entering new customers, updating upon completion of PM’s scheduling of customer PM’s, updates customer lists. Controlling and monitoring past due PM’s.

Responsible for completion of weekly payroll for field technicians and invoicing department. Responsible for the accuracy of the labor analysis report. Responsible for vacation and PTO scheduling as to minimize lost time.

Participate in meetings in order to promote communication and morale. Responsible for setting budgets annually and tracking performance month to month. Responsible for controlling expenses w/supplies and tools needed to perform field service.

Monitor financials monthly and provide reports based on performance. Implement strategies to keep field tech staff motivated and drive performance. Work alongside our CSS staff and promote service sales in this territory.

Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years related work experience with managing a field technical repair staff in the material handling industry. Must have directly managed people (hiring, firing, reviews). Sales experience is required.

Required Skills Strong leadership, reporting and customer service skills. Basic technical or mechanical understanding. Strong organizational skills – ability to prioritize and complete multiple deliverables.

Strong communication skills used to influence desired outcome and report to Service Manager. Strong people management skills- ensuring technicians work in an efficient, neat and safe manner. Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data to recommend improvements.

Internally motivated with strong work ethic. Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) Data Base knowledge helpful. Preferred Skills Bachelor's Degree.
