Sales Development Representative

We’re looking for a proven digital sales and relationship building professional to help us expand on our recent growth.

Overview

Switch seeks a bright, energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing agency. The successful candidate will have proven experience in the enterprise digital solutions space. As an SDR at Switch, you will play a critical role in helping Switch with outbound sales and account based sales strategies that directly support the business net new revenue targets.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation.
  • Qualify leads across pre-defined sales stages.
  • Align closely with marketing campaign planning and lead acquisition.
  • Support mapping accounts across primary and secondary target verticals.
  • Help develop and execute sales plays into the market.
  • Work closely with leadership, communicating qualification progress and conversion.
  • Support partner channel relationships across several key account executives.
  • Support in designing and creating sales assets for lead acquisition and nurturing.

Essential Skills

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated sales experience and a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs & targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to work from home at times and come into the Sydney CBD office as required.
  • Ability to laugh and genuinely enjoy your job!

Nice To Haves

Not absolutely essential to the position, but it would be great if you had knowledge or exposure to:

  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Software products/markets.
  • Experience in Professional Services.
  • Experience with HubSpot.
  • Tertiary Education in Marketing, Communication or a related field.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work.
