Job Description Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading provider of critical power solutions to recruit a Sales Manager for its UK-sales team.\n\nThe strategically important Sales Manager role comes with a competitive salary of up to £55,000, pension, overtime opportunities, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.\n\nIf you're a Sales Manager looking to work for an organisation that values expertise, integrity, and long-term development, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties of the Sales Manager role\n\nReporting to the National Sales Manager you will:\n\nPropose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systems\nWork closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation\nProvide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.\nAssist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.\nAttend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover\nPrepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring products\nIdentify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.\nRepresent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings\n\nProfessional qualifications\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nDegree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)\nExperience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering\nKnowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)\nCommissioning and switchgear experience (desirable). \n\nPersonal skills\n\nThe Sales Manager role would suit someone who is:\n\nTechnically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer value\nCommercially aware with a proactive approach to business development\nConfident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels\nHighly organised with strong time management skills.\nA strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsSalary and benefits of the Sales Manager role\n\nSalary - competitive.\nBonus\nCar allowance.\nMonday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (with flexible start/finish times).\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days in total).\nPension scheme. \n\n INDPOW\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
