Job Description
Corporate Office Furniture Ltd is an office furniture dealership and interiors specialist. Established in 2013 and in 2023 became part of a larger group, with the scale to support projects of all sizes in the Yorkshire region. We are looking for an ambitious External Sales Executive to drive new business, develop fit-out opportunities and manage key accounts in a consultative, solutions-led role.
Responsibilities Proactively seeking out and winning new customers for office furniture and securing office fit-out and refurbishment projects. Managing and growing existing customer accounts, building strong, long-term relationships. Conducting site visits and surveys to measure up and understand client requirements.
Providing consultative advice on furniture layouts, product selection and workspace solutions. Preparing and following up quotations, proposals and tenders. Working closely with the internal team (admin, design and operations) to ensure smooth delivery.
Qualifications This is a consultative sales role, so we are looking for someone who: Has experience in B2B field sales, ideally in a relevant industry. Understands how to build and manage a sales pipeline and close opportunities. Is confident meeting clients on site, asking the right questions and translating needs into solutions.
Is comfortable reading basic floor plans and taking accurate measurements during site surveys. Has strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional, credible manner. Is self-motivated, target-driven and happy working independently on the road as well as from the office.
Industry experience in office furniture or fit-out is preferred, but not essential as full training on our product range, systems and processes will be provided for the right candidate. Benefits Starting salary of £30,000.00 per annum on a full-time basis. Uncapped commission structure with first-year OTE expected circa £45,000.
Part-time option available, with pro-rata salary and commission. Use of a company vehicle to visit customers or a car allowance (to be agreed). Office-based role Monday–Friday, Full product, systems and consultancy-style sales training, plus ongoing development.
