In addition to dance studios, STM delivers equipment for Pilates-based training and offers sound and lighting, acoustic treatments, staging, and theatrical drapes to provide complete turnkey studio packages.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Estimator role based in Chatswood, NSW.

The Sales Estimator will prepare accurate quotes and proposals for dance studios and performance spaces, working closely with clients to understand project requirements and budgets.

The role involves assessing plans and specifications, estimating materials and installation costs, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include responding to sales inquiries, following up on leads, supporting business development activities, and maintaining detailed records in CRM and project management systems.

The Sales Estimator will contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and help deliver high-quality, customer-focused studio solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with clients, understand project needs, and provide clear, professional information.
  • Proven Sales and Business Development abilities to manage inquiries, nurture leads, and support the growth of studio and performance space projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Estimation, including reading plans, calculating materials and labor, and preparing detailed, accurate quotations.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors, with sound organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in construction, fit-out, or related industries (especially studios, performance spaces, or AV) is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and CRM or ERP systems.
  • Relevant vocational training or tertiary qualification in estimating, construction, business, or a related field preferred.
