Consultancy Services & Compliance Software for Cosmetics
To support continued international growth, The Regulatory Company (TRC) is looking for a Sales & Account Manager. This is a midlevel role with clear growth potential for someone who wants to develop into a broader business development or commercial management position over time.
The role focuses on generating and converting leads, managing client accounts, and growing long‑term client relationships, with a strong emphasis on the US, Asia and international markets.
You will work closely with the General Manager and TRC’s regulatory experts to grow both TRC Expert Consultancy Services and PRIMS Compliance Software.
The Role
This is a sales‑led, client‑facing position covering the full commercial lifecycle: from lead follow‑up and qualification, through conversion, to ongoing account management and upsell.
Once a lead converts to a client, a regulatory expert colleague takes over the responsibilities for day‑to‑day services, while you remain the primary commercial contact, ensuring continuity, trust and long‑term value creation. Marketing activities and events/exhibition participation are part of this role, but sales, account ownership and relationship building are the core of this role.
Key Responsibilities: Sales, Lead Conversion & Business Development
- Follow up and qualify incoming leads and enquiries
- Convert leads into clients/partners through structured, consultative sales conversations
- Present TRC services and PRIMS Compliance Software via calls, demos and video meetings
- Prepare, send and follow up on proposals and service agreements
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
Account Management & Upsell
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for clients
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across consultancy services and software
- Coordinate closely with regulatory experts after client onboarding
Commercial Coordination & Growth
- Interdisciplinary role to work closely with the General Manager and internal teams
- Maintain a structured overview of leads, pipelines and client accounts
- Contribute proactively to improving sales processes and tools
- Grow in responsibility and scope as experience and results increase
Supporting Marketing & Events (Secondary Focus)
- Support lead generation through webinars, website content and LinkedIn activities
- Represent TRC at selected international exhibitions and industry events
- Use online and event activities as sales enablement and lead‑generation tools
Experience & Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management or business development
- Experience in selling complex services and/or software
- Experience in regulated, technical or compliance‑driven product categories such as cosmetics, food supplements, other formulated products
- Strong affinity with software and cloud‑based solutions
- Additional languages are a plus
