Job Description
Responsibilities Lead organization‑wide risk management, safety, and regulatory compliance programs. Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety policies, business continuity plans, and emergency preparedness initiatives. Oversee safety training, audits, incident investigations, and workers’ compensation coordination.
Manage safety systems, metrics, vendors, and direct reports related to security and safety operations. Serve as primary contact for regulatory inspections, audits, and environmental compliance. Administer insurance programs, including certificates, renewals, claims, and contract reviews.
Partner cross‑functionally to support a strong safety culture, equity initiatives, and compliance across all operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a health and safety management role.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards. Deep understanding of safety culture, high‑reliability organizations, and root cause analysis. Demonstrated ability to develop practical, effective risk‑mitigation strategies.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft or Google Workspace, databases, and web‑based research tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build credibility and influence across all organizational levels.
Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills with sound judgment.
