Department: ECT - Electroconvulsive Therapy Schedule: PRN as needed Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility. Perform initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice. Develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.

Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patient. Implement nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conducts and/or co-leads group therapy sessions for patients. Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revise nursing plan of care as needed.

Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire. Must have one year of RN experience.

One Year of Nursing Experience Required. The PRN position would be dayshift; 0700-1500 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The shift could be less than 8 hours if needed.

You will fill in as a recovery nurse when the current recovery nurse is off, or last minute call in. This would include obtaining Vital signs x3 for each pt and printing a cardiac monitor strip.
