About the role

Seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales professional to join our dynamic team at Battery World in Garbutt, QLD. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our busy retail store.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the right products for their needs

2. Actively promoting and selling our range of batteries, accessories and other related products

3. Maintaining excellent product knowledge to advise customers accurately

4. Ensuring the store is kept clean, tidy and well-presented at all times

5. Assisting with stock management and replenishment tasks

6. Contributing to achieving and exceeding sales targets

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in a retail, hospitality or sales environment, preferably within the automotive or electrical industry

2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and helpful shopping experience

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with customers

4. Enthusiasm, drive and a genuine passion for sales and providing outstanding customer service

5. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

6. Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays

7. Must be available for rotating weekend shifts as required

8. Rotating 24/7 on-call for the right candidate. 1 week out of 6.

9. Australian work rights essential for this position
