Job Description

About NUP Media

NUP Media is a marketing, media, and software agency built for organizations that need attention, clarity, and momentum. We work with businesses, public‑sector organizations, associations, political campaigns, universities, and community brands to build marketing systems that actually move people.

The Role

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager (Intern) to join our remote team and support the Project Manager in keeping projects, clients, and deliverables moving. You'll sit at the center of how work gets done here: tracking timelines, coordinating between teams, preparing documentation, and helping our events and campaigns launch on schedule. It's a hands‑on role for someone organized, proactive, and eager to learn how a fast‑moving agency operates from the inside.

Please note: this is an unpaid internship. School credit can be arranged if your program allows it. The role is designed for a current university student in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, and you'll gain real agency experience across multiple industries — from restaurants and hospitality to public‑sector and community brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking project tasks and deadlines
  • Support internal communication between teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including timelines, briefs, and status reports
  • Participate in team meetings and capture notes and action items
  • Assist with organizing and following up on client deliverables and approvals
  • Monitor progress on assigned projects and flag delays or issues early
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and reporting
  • Help plan, organize, and promote events — coordinating logistics, timelines, vendors, and promotional content
  • Support the rollout of marketing campaigns and public‑facing communications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Bilingual proficiency in English — strong written and spoken English required
  • Available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with digital tools (project management, spreadsheets, docs, and collaboration platforms)
  • Self‑motivated and reliable in a remote environment
  • Interested in event coordination, marketing, and client‑facing work
  • Bonus: experience with social media, content, or event promotion

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct mentorship from an experienced Project Manager
  • Real experience managing projects across multiple industries and brands
  • Exposure to marketing campaigns, events, and client communications
  • A flexible, remote work environment
  • School credit (if your program allows) plus a strong portfolio and reference to launch your career

Compensation & Term: This is a 3‑month unpaid internship. School credit available if your program allows.
