Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a relief support worker to join our CQC Outstanding service at Hastings Avenue in Margate on a flexible, bank basis, paying 13.00 per hour.

Life at Hastings Avenue is vibrant and community focused. You'll be supporting four individuals to enjoy full, active lives; from afternoons by the beach and day trips to London and Canterbury, to swimming sessions, social evenings, and local clubs. Even in quieter months there's always something happening, from cooking and baking to creative indoor activities.

A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive a Sense vehicle to support people to access the community.

Please note: this post is restricted to female applicants. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring, and empathetic
• Reliable and flexible with availability
• Positive, with a can-do attitude
• Willing to attend training as needed

This role in Margate might include supporting people with:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Finances and medication
• Getting out into the community for activities, trips, and social events
