Relief Engineer for Halifax Transit

Join Halifax Regional Municipality as a Relief Engineer/Deckhand, where your skills will enhance ferry operations in a full-time capacity. This role emphasizes technical maintenance alongside deck management duties. As part of the Ferry Services team, you report to Supervisors and support the Vessel’s Captain.

Your responsibilities include ensuring machinery is maintained, cabins are clean, and assisting fellow crew members. You'll also be involved in maintenance tasks and record-keeping for operational efficiency.
