Your Role:

Working across our preparation and theatre areas, you’ll deliver attentive, individualised nursing care throughout each patient’s anaesthetic, surgical and diagnostic journey. You’ll encounter a wide range of complex conditions, putting your clinical skills, judgement and attention to detail into practice every day.

This is a role for someone who enjoys a varied, fast-paced environment and understands that excellent patient care depends on empathy, clear communication and colleagues working together!

Whether you’re looking to build your confidence in advanced nursing or broaden your existing experience, we recognise the importance of a supported start.

You’ll receive a structured 12-week induction with a nursing mentor to guide your training. Beyond induction, quarterly one-to-one meetings and an annual appraisal provide regular opportunities to discuss your progress, goals and development.

With funded CPD, encouragement to pursue further learning and a nursing structure that supports different career directions, you’ll have opportunities to explore where your skills and interests can take you.

What you’ll bring:

We’re looking for a registered veterinary nurse who combines compassion with a proactive approach to patient care. You’ll be a thoughtful team member, attentive to detail and keen to keep learning, with the ability to adapt as clinical priorities change.

Your Hours and Benefits:

• Salary of £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience based on a full-time, 40-hour week working pattern. (Part time working patterns can also be discussed)
• One in four weekends, with days off in lieu
