Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Service Manager to join our team. You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting them in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living, accessing work, education and leisure activities. Responsibilities Manage a residential service for autistic individuals, ensuring high quality care and support for independence in daily living.
Develop and implement programmes to facilitate access to work, education and leisure activities. Lead and mentor staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and performance management. Ensure compliance with RQIA registration, statutory and legislative requirements, and a rights‑based ethos.
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, service users and their families. Qualifications and Experience Meet the RQIA requirements to be a Registered Manager of a residential service on appointment (inclusive of Adult Residential Management). Relevant qualifications include: Relevant Health or Social Care professional qualification.
Level 5 Diploma (QCF5) in Leadership for Health and Social Care services with Adult Residential Management. Other relevant Diploma/Degree/Post‑Graduate qualification in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care (including Adult Residential Management). Minimum one year of senior level experience supporting groups in a residential setting.
Working knowledge of supporting people with autism, communication difficulties and associated complex needs. Full valid UK driving licence held for at least one year with access to own car and business insurance on appointment. Knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements and a rights‑based ethos, aligned with Residential Care Agencies Minimum Standards.
